Right to Dream

Hosting a Dreamer is an opportunity to open your heart and home to someone eager to experience life in a new country. Our student-athletes are familiar with boarding school life while attending Right To Dream’s Ghana and Egypt academies on full scholarship. When you join our community, you're not just collaborating with us but becoming an integral part of a transformative experience. It's about more than offering a room; it's about extending an invitation to be a cherished member of your family. Our Host Families, diverse in their backgrounds, share a common thread of warmth and commitment while guiding Dreamers through cultural transitions, school life, and community integration. Dreamers, in turn, are not mere guests; they're embraced as family members. Living by family rules, pitching in with chores, and participating in gatherings—the essence of an authentic family experience.

Throughout school breaks and special occasions, our families don't just provide accommodations and meals; they orchestrate social outings, creating memories that linger far beyond the hosting period. Attending games, sharing in the joy of Parents Weekends, and participating in special events are all moments that strengthen the familial bond. And when that bond deepens, it often extends beyond the expected. While the journey doesn't require assisting with the upper school and college planning process, these conversations naturally evolve, becoming part of the tapestry of shared experiences. Some families even find joy in hosting two Dreamers simultaneously, enriching their own lives in the process.

At Right to Dream USA, we're not just a program but a support system. Our dedicated staff is there to provide a smooth transition and conducts regular check-ins. If questions arise, we are here to assist our Dreamers and you.
